Working Principle:

During drilling operations, the ground power equipment drives the square drill rod to rotate, and the square drill rod is connected to the drill rod column through the connecting thread at its lower end, thereby transmitting the rotational motion to the entire drill rod column and the drill bit. At the same time, during the drilling process, as the depth of the well increases, it is necessary to continuously apply axial pressure to the well. While transmitting the rotational torque, the square drill rod also undertakes the task of transmitting the axial pressure applied by the ground to the drill bit, so that the drill bit can effectively break the rock and realize the continuous deepening of the wellbore.

After heat treatment and surface hardening process, it has extremely high tensile, torsional and compressive strength, and can withstand huge rotational torque and axial pressure.

• Precision rotary sealing system

Built-in high-pressure sealing assembly, supports circulating drilling fluid (mud) injected into the bottom of the well through the inner hole, and the sealing pressure level is above 5000psi, which is suitable for deep well and ultra-deep well operation needs.

• Modular connection design

The upper and lower ends are equipped with API standard threads (such as NC50, 6-5/8" Reg, etc.). The upper end is a male thread for connecting a faucet; the lower end is a female thread for connecting a drill string. It can quickly connect the top drive and the drill string to reduce installation time.

Optional protective joints can be used to extend the life of the threads and reduce maintenance costs.

Obvious marks will also be engraved on the outer wall of the square drill rod so that the number of rotations and the lowering depth of the square drill rod can be accurately identified and controlled during drilling operations.
