The turntable of drilling equipment is an important part of the drilling rig. It is a rotating part with a square hole in the center. A turntable is installed at the wellhead of the drilling platform. The square hole in the rotating part of the center of the turntable passes through the square drill rod at the top of the drill string. The square drill rod is connected to the drill string and the drill bit below. The power machine drives the horizontal axis of the turntable, and the horizontal axis drives the turntable to rotate. The turntable drives the square drill rod through the square tile and square bushing. When the turntable is driven, the turntable will drive the drill string and the drill bit to rotate together, thereby breaking the rock, so that the wellbore will be deepened as the drill string is continuously lengthened, and the drill cuttings will be returned to the ground with the circulating mud.

1. Turntable: It is a rotating part, installed in the upper and lower rings of the main and auxiliary bearings, supported on the base through the main bearing, with a square seat hole on the upper part for installing the square tile. The square tile cooperates with the square bushing to transmit the torque to the active drill rod and the pipe string through the four sides to achieve rotation.
2. Base: It mainly plays a supporting role. It is usually formed by welding steel castings with steel plates after rough machining, and then fine-machined after overall annealing to eliminate stress, which can ensure the stability of the turntable.
3. Transmission system: It includes transmission gears, transmission shafts, etc. The transmission gears are generally medium-hardened bevel gears with high strength, stable transmission, and large torque transmission; the transmission shaft is an alloy forging and tempered, and the shaft end can be installed with sprockets and flanges to adapt to various transmission methods.
4. Sealing device: Common ones are labyrinth seals and extrusion seals. The labyrinth seal has several annular sealing teeth arranged in sequence around the turntable to form a tortuous labyrinth to prevent leakage; the extrusion seal adjusts the sealing performance by adjusting the pressing force of the pressure ring on the extrusion ring to prevent mud and foreign matter from invading the bearing cavity.
