Application :

    Sucker rod guide is used in wells with serious eccentric wear of tubing and sucker rod, especially for wells with eccentric wear above the neutral point of sucker rod and directional inclined wells. Below the neutral point of sucker rod, it cooperates with the nylon centralizer on the sucker rod body to achieve better anti-eccentric wear effect. This centralizer is also suitable for the centralization of screw pump oil rod. By using this centralizer, the centralizer in contact with the tubing is worn, and the wear of the sucker rod and tubing is reduced, so as to achieve the purpose of anti-eccentric wear.

Structure and principle :

    The sucker rod moves up and down in the oil pipe. Due to the elastic deformation of the sucker rod, the rod and the oil pipe wall are prone to friction, and the sucker rod is easy to break. The sucker rod centralizer has strong flexibility. It is stuck on the square edge of the sucker rod. The outer diameter of the centralizer is larger than the outer diameter of the sucker rod coupling. It contacts the inner wall of the oil pipe and is fixed in position. The material of the centralizer is made of high-strength wear-resistant plastic. The contact and friction between the centralizer and the oil pipe causes the centralizer to wear, while reducing the wear of the sucker rod and the oil pipe, playing a centralizing role; to achieve the purpose of preventing eccentric wear, thereby achieving the purpose of increasing the oil production life of the pumping unit.

Usage :

  1. The specifications of the centralizer should match the sucker rod.

  2. During installation, use a special tool to punch and position it at the installation position of the sucker rod body.

  3. When the centralizer is lowered into the well, the sucker rod guide is installed at the wellhead.

  4. The centralizer that is pulled out of the oil well should be replaced if it is worn away by 1/3 or damaged.

Instructions for use :

  1. Check whether the sucker rod centralizer is a qualified product (whether there are cracks, whether it rotates flexibly, etc.).

  2. Select the corresponding specifications and quantity of the KZL type sucker rod centralizer according to the pipe-rod combination structure and eccentric wear of the oil well.

  3. When in use, the buckle torque should reach 0.53kN.m (φ19).

  4. When the centralizer is lowered into the well, the sucker rod guide is installed at the wellhead.

  5. It should be lowered smoothly, and the lowering speed should be less than 8m per minute.

  6. When the centralizer is pulled out of the oil well, the back clamp is installed on the square body of the sucker rod, and the pipe clamp is installed on the flat body below the centralizer to remove it, ensuring that the centralizer is not deformed or loose.

  7. The centralizer sleeve of the centralizer pulled out of the oil well is worn off by 2/3, and it should be replaced if it is damaged, deformed, or not flexible in rotation.

  8. When the centralizer is lowered into the well, the sucker rod guide is installed at the wellhead, and the operation should be smooth.

Principles of use:

  1. For well sections with less eccentric wear, install one set for 3 sucker rods.

  2. For well sections with more eccentric wear, install one set for 2 sucker rods.

  3. For well sections with more eccentric wear, install one set for each sucker rod.

  4. For well sections with serious eccentric wear (and at inflection points), install one set for 3 sucker rods, and then install a nylon centralizer in the middle of the sucker rod.

Precautions :

  1. During the installation and transportation of the centralizer, it is strictly forbidden to directly knock or collide with it, and special tools must be used.

  2. When using it, use a back clamp on the square body of the sucker rod, and a pipe clamp on the flat body below the centralizer to tighten it; use a back clamp on the centralizer hoop, and a pipe clamp on the square body of the sucker rod to tighten it, to ensure that the centralizer does not deform.

  3. The sucker rod guide must be installed.

  4. In oil wells with old oil pipes, the male buckle of the old oil pipe must be chamfered at 45°.

  5. Be stable when lowering.
