The oil well pipe string is a kilometer-long pipe string formed by connecting a single oil well pipe with a special thread, including a drill string, a casing string, and an oil pipe string. The drill string is composed of square drill pipes, drill pipes, drill collars, conversion joints, etc., and is an important tool for drilling.
Drill stem is the general term for the steel pipe column above the drill bit and below the tap. It includes: Square Kelly, Drill Pipe, Drill Collar, various joints, stabilizers, and other downhole tools (shock absorbers, jars, reamer, keyway breakers, etc.).
Oil pipe is a seamless round steel pipe column that connects the reservoir with the ground control and oil and gas manifold. 1. Surface casing
Purpose:
1) Isolate the shallow water layer and shallow loose and complex formations on the surface to prevent well leakage.
2) Install the wellhead, hang and support the subsequent layers of casing.
2. Production casing (oil layer casing)
Purpose:
Protect the production layer and provide a flow channel for oil and gas.
3. Technical casing (intermediate casing)
Purpose:
Isolate complex formations to ensure safe and smooth drilling.
4. Tail pipe (liner)
The casing suspended at the bottom of the upper layer of casing does not extend to the wellhead, which can reduce the load and reduce costs. The casing commonly used in deep and ultra-deep wells is made of high-quality seamless steel pipes, with a male buckle machined on the pipe body at one end and a casing coupling with a female buckle at the other end.
