Working principle

During the lifting operation, the operator opens the Oil Rig Elevator, puts it on the coupling of the drill pipe or casing, and then closes the elevator to firmly clamp the pipe. Then, through the traction of the lifting system (such as winch, wire rope, etc.), the elevator drives the drill pipe or casing to rise together to achieve the lifting operation. When lowering the pipe, first lower the elevator to the appropriate position, open the elevator, release the clamp on the pipe, and then raise the elevator to complete the lowering operation.
