Working principle

During the drilling operation, when it is necessary to lift or lower the drill pipe, casing and other pipes, the operator moves the Elevator Spider to the appropriate position so that its slips are aligned with the outer wall of the pipe. Then, by operating the control mechanism, the slips are retracted inward to tightly clamp the pipe. Under the action of the lifting equipment, the Elevator Spider drives the pipe to rise or fall smoothly. Throughout the process, the Elevator Spider's clamping force remains stable to ensure safe movement of the pipe.
