    The valve body assembly coupled with the valve seat is called the valve assembly. It is composed of metal valve body, sealing rubber, metal valve seat and spring, etc. It is an important component of the liquid end.

    The valve block is installed in the fluid end module of the mud pump and controls the locking of the suction and discharge valves. It consists of valve body, valve seat and insert. Among these components, the valve disc is the key component that determines the service life. The main materials of the valve body and valve seat are made of high-grade alloy steel integrally forged, such as 20CrMnTi and 20CrNiMo. It is processed in accordance with strict process regulations to ensure high smoothness and accurate dimensions. Advanced heat treatment methods are used to obtain high strength, good toughness, and a working surface hardness of HRC≥60. In addition, the dimensional matching of the working angle of the valve seat and valve body is accurately calculated and CNC processed, which improves the service life of the valve body and valve seat.     The seal material used in the valve body assembly can be extremely wear-resistant polyurethane or specially formulated synthetic rubber. Different Types:

  1) Stem guide valve and cross arm valve seat

Stem-guided valves and wishbone valve seats feature an extra wide metal-to-metal seal on the valve flange. A serrated upper surface on the valve provides a longer non-breathing seal between the valve body and insert, while a rigid seat cross arm provides greater strength and a reliable seal.

  2) Three-wing valve and fully open valve seat.

The three-wing pilot valve and fully open valve seat allow greater fluid flow than the four-wing valve, and the one-piece forged valve has greater strength than the traditional welded wing valve. The innovative one-piece valve design eliminates snap rings, plates or glands, reducing maintenance with snap ring valve inserts and easy installation.

  3) Double angle O-ring valve

Double angle O-ring valves feature a strong one-piece body to provide longer operation between outlet changes. It is constructed from carburized high-quality alloy steel to resist wear, provide a positive seal, and help prevent flushing or damage to the pump.
