The drilling mud pump air bag assembly is mainly used for oil drilling pump flow regulation. The working principle is mainly to adjust the fluid speed and pressure in the discharge pipe by installing an air bag on the discharge pipeline during the reciprocating motion of the drilling pump, so as to achieve the purpose of stabilizing the pressure and displacement fluctuation of the drilling mud pump. The air bag is divided into two types: discharge air bag and suction air bag. 1. Discharge air bag - reduce the displacement and pressure fluctuation of the pump; 2. Suction air bag - improve suction conditions and prevent cavitation.

The drilling mud pump air bag is produced by our company Huichi Petro according to API-7K standard. It is a rubber product made of natural rubber and nitrile rubber as the main raw materials. It has the characteristics of reasonable overall structure, good elasticity, high working pressure and long service life. It is used with the air bag rubber plate. By adjusting the inflow and outflow of the pump output liquid in this product, the pressure fluctuation of the discharge system is effectively reduced to obtain a smooth discharge flow, so that the mud pump can achieve excellent suction effect. It is widely used in high-pressure pipelines for petroleum and chemical transportation. This product can also be used as a stabilizer and shock absorber for the vacuum pump.
The air bag structure is mainly composed of: shell, rubber core, pressure plate, pressure gauge, stop valve.

When the drilling pump piston is in the discharge process, the fluid flow rate in the discharge pipe increases and the pressure increases accordingly. If the pressure is greater than the pressure in the air bag chamber, the air bag in the air bag will be compressed, causing some liquid to enter the air bag.
On the contrary, when the piston is in the suction process, the liquid pressure in the discharge pipe will be less than the pressure in the air bag chamber, and the air bag will begin to expand, thereby squeezing out the liquid in the air bag to adjust the fluid speed and pressure in the discharge pipe.
The role of the air bag is to compensate for the fluctuation of pressure in the discharge pipe, and automatically adjust the discharge by storing and discharging liquid. The fluid velocity and pressure in the pipe can achieve the effect of stabilizing the pump pressure.
In actual operation, the air bag will be filled with pre-pressured air or nitrogen through the inflation joint, usually 4.5-5.0MPa. When the discharge pressure of the drilling pump exceeds this pre-pressure, the air bag starts to work, storing or discharging the liquid by compression or expansion to keep the flow and pressure in the discharge pipeline basically uniform.
Applicable conditions: pressure ≤30MPa, temperature ≤100℃, flushing times ≤120 times/min, PH value 5~14. Medium water, water-based mud, oil-based mud, other acid and alkali liquids.
