    In the process of oil and gas exploration and development, in order to achieve the purpose of safe drilling, well control equipment is often installed at the wellhead. The wellhead pressure is controlled by the well control equipment to ensure the safety of the operators. Commonly used well control equipment includes blowout prevention devices, such as blowout preventers. Blowout preventers are widely used as a secondary well control equipment.

    They can be used to fully seal the wellhead, shear the drill bit, seal the annulus, force the drill bit, suspend the drill bit, and manually shut in the well. During the operation, the blowout preventer can be equipped with a gate to close the empty well, a gate to cut the drill pipe, and a gate group with a variable diameter within a certain range. The gate blowout preventer generally includes: a shell, a side door, a cylinder, a cylinder head, a gate assembly, a piston rod, a piston and a locking shaft. According to the number of gate chambers provided in the shell of the gate blowout preventer, the gate blowout preventer is divided into a single gate blowout preventer, a double gate blowout preventer and a triple gate blowout preventer.

    The single gate blowout preventer has only one gate chamber in its shell, and a pair of gates is installed in the gate chamber. The double gate blowout preventer has two gate chambers in its shell, and two pairs of gates are installed. The triple gate blowout preventer has three gate chambers in its shell, and three pairs of gates are installed. Among them, the gate assembly in the gate blowout preventer is the core component of the gate blowout preventer. The gate assembly consists of a gate and a rubber core. The rubber core is set on the gate and mainly plays a sealing role.

    The packing element for Annular BOP has special type and taper type. The packing element is combined by the main body which is made up of the independent innovation rubber based polymer alloy material and the high strength metal frame, which conforms to the USA 16A, SATM D412, D624, D2240 and D471 standard. It is suitable for the drilling work on the oil field, which shares a high cost performance comparing to the other same type packing elements.
