Junk Basket |
The junk basket sold by our company is a tool that uses the principle of reverse circulation of liquid flow to fish out debris from underground. During the drilling process, high-flow, high-pressure drilling fluid will flush the bottom of the well through the drill pipe, forming a local reverse circulation at the bottom of the well, and then flowing back to the ground through the well wall. The drilling junk basket uses this reverse circulation principle to collect various loose debris or metal fragments from the bottom of the well, such as drill bit cones, bearings, slips and hand tools, into the basket and fix them by the debris catcher of the tool, so as to clean the bottom of the well and achieve the purpose of salvage.
There are two types of reverse circulation junk baskets produced and sold by our company Huichi Petro: ITCO junk basket and reserve circulation junk basket.
The tool consists of a top sub, barrel assembly, catcher, and shoe. The barrel assembly consists of an inner and outer barrel, valve seat, cup, and ball. A lift sub is also provided to assist in handling.
The use of drilling junk baskets requires certain professional knowledge and skills. It is recommended to consult professionals or refer to relevant operating manuals before use. Generally speaking, the steps for using drilling junk baskets are as follows:
1. Install the drilling junk basket on the drill pipe and ensure that the basket is at the bottom of the well.
2. Start injecting drilling fluid and let it flow into the bottom of the well.
3. When the drilling fluid flows through the bottom of the well, the reverse circulation device in the basket will pick up the debris at the bottom of the well into the basket.
4. When the amount of debris in the basket reaches a certain amount, stop injecting drilling fluid, slowly raise the drill pipe, and bring the basket out of the wellhead.
5. Turn the basket upside down and pour out the collected debris.
When using the drilling salvage basket, pay attention to the following matters:
1. Before use, the drilling salvage basket should be inspected to ensure that it is intact.
2. During use, pay attention to the flow and pressure of the drilling fluid to avoid being too large or too small.
3. During use, pay attention to the position of the basket to avoid the debris being missed or the basket being stuck.
4. During use, pay attention to safety to avoid accidents.
